I guess you guys could probably tell by now, The Owls Cafe is one of my favourite cafe at all times. I usually don't revisit cafes but this is one of the few exceptions. I've visited The Owls Cafe for numerous times, be it for that ever creative and delicious waffles or their mesmerising rose latte. I just can't help but love everything about this place. When i heard that they recently opened up a new branch in Calvary Convention Center, Bukit Jalil, i HAVE TO pay them a visit. Hence, Mr. J and i went all the way to New Chapter by The Owls Cafe to try out their brunch menu.

     Calvary Convention Center is not difficult to locate. If you are familiar with the original Owls Cafe in Bukit Jalil, keeping this cafe on your right, keep going straight and the convention center will be on your left after 1.3km. Once you reach here, the security guards will inquire about your destination, just let them know and they will direct you to your car park and the directions to New Chapter.





   New Chapter is a totally different version of its predecessor. It was housed in this spacious L-shaped corner, filled with clean, modern and sleek design. They combined light brown, white and white marble to create a futuristic and warm space for their customers. I especially love the view of the golf course right next to it. Similar to The Owls Cafe, staffs here are full of energy, friendly and helpful. They have similar cake choices like its sister branch, as well as the wonderful menu. This time around, we chose from their brunch menu: The Morning Daisy and Crreamy Seafood Pasta. For dessert, i had to go for the Midori Waffle, my all time favourite.

   I apologise for the long haul of food photoss, but i just couldn't help it. The food presentation here was amazing, plus the wonderful interior design, making this space so memorable. I didn't quite like The Morning Daisy because i thought the croissant and scrambled egg combination was a tad bit ordinary, though the execution was alright. However, the criss cut fries was so well done, crispy, well-seasoned and addictive. My favourite savoury dish of the day had to be the innovative creamy seafood pasta which was seasoned with curry and cumin powder, how special is that? The addition of these spices completely elevated this boring dish into something fabulous and unique. Last but not least, my favourite waffle of ALL TIME--The Midori Waffle. I have had this waffle before and i keep coming back for more. I love the texture of the waffle, crunchy yet pillowish at the center. Ice-cream flavours were on top of the world, not to mention the delicious red bean mousse that i could just lick it off the plate. (pardon my rudeness) 

   In other words, i was on cloud nine. New Chapter is definitely a grand successor of its sister's branch, providing a spacious area for their supporters and customers to enjoy a wonderful evening over delicious snacks, meals and drinks. Bravo and congratulations to New Chapter! I'm looking forward to more innovations and flavours that will intrigued me in the near future. xoxo
