Happy Sunday ma homies! A million sorry can't express how apologetic i am for being MIA for 2 weeks. I was utterly burning my midnight oil to complete all my assignments and work. Though now it's almost done, but there are still plenty of work to do. Sigh, life of a medical student. Anyway, let's focus on today's post on my night with Jeff and Shun, my dear uni buddies in S.Wine, Publika.

   Well, few months ago, Jeff was back in town from Hong Kong! This good looking dentist-to-be visited us in KL, so me, Laine and Shun brought him around town to try out some good food. When we came to Publika for dinner, we chose S.Wine to dine in, hoping for some pleasant culinary surprise from this wonderful cafe, located in a corner of B.I.G grocer. As the name stated, it is a non-halal restaurant, serving mainly pork products along with some Western and Asian cuisine. They are also known for their wine menu, leading my interest towards this black little dining house.

   For the night, Shun ordered a light appetizer: bacon wrapped sausage, i had a Sloppy Piggy Burger and Jeff had a spahetti pasta but i really forgot what was it already. (Sorry)

   Sad to say, i wasn't really impressed by my pork burger, mainly because the patty was too dry, too salty and nothing memorable. Shun's appetizer was quite alright, something ordinary but tasted not bad. Jeff's pasta was not too bad, but he commented that it was mediocre, definitely not worth the price that we are paying. For the night, each of us paid an average of RM 35.

   Anyway, at least the environment was pretty fine. That's all about it. Service was quite bad, we asked so many times for the bill but waited more than 15 minutes to get it. S.Wine has tremendous potential to become one of the fine eateries in Publika. However, we did not experience any of it from that dinner. Hopefully, in the future, it can improve on its food and service, then it'll be great. Till then, have a great week ahead. xoxo
