Pigging out @ Jac's On The 8th

I'm always excited to explore about new places, restaurants and shops. I want to experience different dining ambiance, discover new food concept and learn new stories behind each door. It was a rainy morning when i brought my loved ones for a warm and hearty brunch. I stumbled across this tiny yet homey cafe in the unnoticeable business park of Ara Damansara. The welcoming entrance stood an eye-catching board, stating 'BREAKFAST SET'. Three hungry piggies immediately sought shelter and food inside this little cafe called Jac's On The 8th.
I was taken aback by the setting of this cafe. It was colourful, vibrant, simple and homecoming. The owner creatively played with different texture, materials, style, furniture to create a relaxing environment for customers to enjoy simple pastries and coffee. It was not grand, but down-to-earth; not stunning, but simply enjoyable.
The 3 little piggies ordered 2 breakfast sets and a French Toast. Breakfast sets include egg omelette with toast and a standard big breakfast. Each breakfast set comes with a cup of Americano or hot tea, can be upgraded to any milk coffee just by adding RM2.

Jac's On The 8th gained its name from its owner, Jaclyn Ting, who strongly believes in serving all natural, healthy food that taste good at the same time. It certainly reflects her well in the items we received. The big breakfast was well balanced with flavours and texture. French Toast was sweet and fragrant, but we were a tad bit disappointed with the miniature size of the omelette. However, the single origin coffee was good. Americano was strong with acidity, earthiness with a tinge of maltiness. I'm definitely returning for the amazing caffeine offered here.
