My studies requires me to move around Malaysia, from KL to Seremban, Seremban to Batu Pahat. Thanks to this, i'm always on a food trip, exploring new places and enjoying new cuisine. No matter where i go, i'll make sure i find a decent cafe for work and studies, simply because i enjoy the smell of coffee. Having moved to the southern part of Malaysia, i've tried a vast range of local Batu Pahat food as well as some nice cafe. Today, i'm going to share with you a decent cafe that is well known for its 3D latte art.
Weis Cafe, situated at the first floor of a simple shop lot, in the packed business area of Flora Utama, right behind Aeon Big is not hard to locate. Mr. J and i was trying to find a decent place to have a quick read and we ended up trying a slice of rainbow cake as well as a cup of cappucino with 3D latte art. All milk coffee and mocha can be topped with 3D latte art.

When i first saw the coffee, i thought it was the cutest cup of coffee i've ever had. The friendly barista made me two bears, one big and one small, carefully crafted using milk foam and chocolate. Of course, we have to take it for multiple photo shots. Taste wise, it was smooth and creamy, earthy and fragrant, nothing too unusual. Cake was surprisingly good. Presentation and flavor hit the right spot, with the right amount of sugar and cream, the entire cake was moist and pleasant to the eyes.
Overall, Weis Cafe did well judging from a small neighbourhood like Batu Pahat. I am utterly surprised by the quality of coffee and desserts we enjoyed from Weis. However, pricing is on the higher edge, closing up to KL standard. Environment was quiet and spacious, recommended for studies and gathering. To my friends or juniors who are coming to Batu Pahat, give this cafe a try and i'm sure you won't be disappointed! xoxo
