Good day earthlings! It's Sunday and i'm sure most of you would dread the coming on the Monday! I mean, who will like weekdays right? However, one of the reasons that make me love weekdays a little bit would be the affordable and money valued set lunch that many restaurants offers. Have you ever passed by a high class restaurant but startled by the sky high a la carte menu? Well, a tip from le foodie, is to go for their weekday set lunch which usually comes in a set of main course with appetizer, soup, desserts, drinks either or, in a lower price but same quality. Hence, today, i am gonna write about weekday set lunch offered by de House Cafe in One City Mall.

   Situated at the top floor of One City Mall, diners get to enjoy a bird's view over the busy city of Puchong, Subang and Selangor. It is easy to locate, just take a lift up to the top floor, it should be at the end of the floor. Dining with a magnificent sky view now comes in a more affordable price as we enjoyed the weekday set lunch offered by de House Cafe. It includes salad of the day, main course, dessert of the day and a cup of beverage.

 
   We got ourselves a Grilled Chicken Chop with Chip and a Spaghetti Carbonara with Chicken Ham and Mushroom as main courses, with a cup of hot coffee and iced lemon tea each.

   We were quite satisfied with our meals. The salad was light and appetizing, chicken chop was tender and moist, carbonara was rich and creamy and drinks were alright. My only complaint was the creme brulee was too sweet to handle. Both of us did not finish as diabetes was yelling at our faces. LOL. Aside from that, i do think that this is an affordable and value-for-money set lunch offered by de House. I mean, what else can be complained when one gets to enjoy a simple, delicious set lunch with such a nice view overlooking the city? Thumbs up to the service and beautiful indoor decor!
