Good morning dear readers! I am so sorry for the delay in posting any updates recently. I've been quite busy with work and convocation. On a side note, i was really surprised by how hectic a graduation ceremony can be! It was just a mere 15 seconds on stage, but man, the amount of preparation before and after the ceremony was insane! Anyway, today i'm back to introducing you guys on this beautiful cafe in Damansara Uptown that serves an array of healthy food. This is none other than Nara Kitchen and Co.
Nara Kitchen is situated on the same row as the famous Softsrve, Fat Spoon, The Good Batch and more. It was built within a simple, white shop lot. As we entered the compound, we were warmly greeted by their friendly waitress, inviting us into its spacious and minimalistic interior. I was amazed by the modern and sleek design, perfect for a #minimalistic shoot for your Instagram. Anyway, i've visited this cafe twice and was pleased every single time.
Nara takes pride on its healthy and high quality produce, with simple cooking and creative twist, its menu is something to die for. It consists of several sections, ranging from brunch to mains, coffee to juices, cakes to snacks. They have a few popular dishes that one must try whenever you visit Nara. They are Nara's Donburi and Brilliant Breakfast Pudding. We also sampled their Fancy French Toast, along with a cup of Cappucino and Flat White for extra caffeine kick.

The Nara's Donburi was perfectly done, with smart combinations of Japanese flavours, creating a sweet and savoury rice bowl that will make you come back for more. Brilliant Breakfast Pudding was healthy, sweet and beautifully decorated. I would prefer the addition of citrus fruits such as berries so that the acidity may balance up the sweetness of this dish. Lastly, our Fancy French Toast was beautifully done. Brioche was soft and fragrant, peaches were poached to perfection in consistency and taste. The unique flavour of Earl Grey Lavender added a few more cookie points to this common cafe dish. However, the coffee drinks here did not manage to impress, mostly due to the mildly roasted beans and lacking in flavours.
After my 2 visits to Nara's, i can truly say that this is the place to be if you are looking for some new vibes and healthy food in your next cafe hopping journey. Despite being a tad pricier than the standard cafes, Nara is not to be missed, as it promises good food with relaxing ambiance.
