'... ...no strangers, only friends we haven't met'

It was a random quote i saw on the wall of Strangers at 47. Yes, there is a cafe named Strangers at 47, such a quirky and catchy name for a cafe right? Situated at the suburbs of Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya, next to SSTwo Mall, this little cafe is specialised in producing sweet and savoury crepes that are so irresistible that one cannot say no to them.

Cute little 3D art

I visited this cafe few weeks ago when Xin Lun and i had a quick catch up together. Both of us decided to go for the sweet crepe, cause we are girls and we love sugar! LOL. I had a Purple Rage plus a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream while Xin Lun had a Dark Side. For our caffeine fix to cure our haggard medical student soul, we had a cup of Cappuccino and Mocha each.

Purple Rage+vanilla ice-cream--RM 9+3
Sweet potato crepe, Japanese sweet potato, coconut sago, pandan infused gula melaka

Dark Side--RM 10
Chocolate crepe, dark chocolate spread, white chocolate curls, orange caramel, vanilla ice-cream
Cappuccino--RM 10

Hot Mocha--RM 12

Overall, we were pretty satisfied with our colorful crepes. For my sweet potato crepe, the filling was sweet and light, coconut sago gave a creamy and satisfying texture and the light gula melaka just combine every component together flawlessly. I added a scoop of ice-cream because i think a sweet crepe is never complete without cooling ice-cream. On the other hand, Xin Lun's sinful chocolate crepe was rich and intense with strong chocolate essence, with a tinge of refreshing orange to elevate the whole item. Coffee wise, indeed, this is some good coffee beans that sourced from Artisan Roast. I was quite pleased with mine, rich and smooth.

Forgot to mention, the crowd here is insane! I visited Strangers at 47 on a Sunday afternoon and ohh gosh, people just never stop swarming in for the 2 hours while we were seated there. It really proves that the quality of food the cafe holds to attract this level of business. Moreover, i credit the friendliness of all the staffs here, truly made us feel like home. Pricing was above average, costing us RM 20+ per person. Nevertheless, this is an interesting themed cafe with unique concept and great service. Do drop by here for a weekday catch-up over a nice piece of crepe with friends and family! Have an awesome week ahead! xoxo
